I would scan the image into Adobe Illustrator, or comparable program, then
export out of that program as a .dxf file. I have SC v11.1 and have to export as
R13 .dxf. I then import the .dxf file directly into SC.
Anyone else get any e-mail solicitations from Acuity Inc. trying to sell
Unigraphics NX. I thought it a little funny and coincidental now that SC is
being revived. They are offering a discount to current and former
SC users. Is that "former" as in anyone who has
walked by my computer and seen SC on the screen? The e-mail mentioned a web
demonstration and for me to contact them for log-in info. Two days later they
sent the log-in info without my requesting it. Sounds a little desperate to me.
:-) Later dudes...

Hi all! Happy St Pattys day to
you. Ive got a
project here that ive never done before that maybe
someone can help me with. I need to scan a logo and import it
into Smartcam to create toolpath. (not going to be
breaking the law by the way) Can anyone give me a brief
explanation on how that is done so I don’t have to waste a lot of time. Smartcam
