Those with better netiquette generally keep their sigs short, and those are the only ones I bother to look at. The rest I generaly ignore. I don't even bother getting bent about how long some of them get anymore, because these days email headers easily eclipse the size of any sig. What does annoy me, though, is when mail servers are configured to add text to outbound email company-wide containing long legal disclaimers that say the email is private, etc. Who would want force-fed legaleese in all of their communications. When I see those, I have a sig of my own that I send with all return communication "by reading this email, you aggree, on the behalf of your employer, to release me from all obligations and waivers arising from any and all non-negotitated agreements", etc, etc. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium Oct 3 - Security and Privacy Nov 7 - Django Python Application Framework
