   Those with better netiquette generally keep their sigs short, and those are 
the only ones I bother to look at.  The rest I generaly ignore.  I don't even 
bother getting bent about how long some of them get anymore, because these 
days email headers easily eclipse the size of any sig.

   What does annoy me, though, is when mail servers are configured to add text 
to outbound email company-wide containing long legal disclaimers that say the 
email is private, etc.  Who would want force-fed legaleese in all of their 
communications.
   When I see those, I have a sig of my own that I send with all return 
communication "by reading this email, you aggree, on the behalf of your 
employer, to release me from all obligations and waivers arising from any and 
all non-negotitated agreements", etc, etc.
