Yes, you should install all the anti-* stuff, as it is just as
vulnerable as a windows machine is.

The infection will be contained to the windows vm.  From time to time
you may want to snapshot the disk so you can roll back to a known
previous good state.

The way that I do this is to setup a samba server on my machine, and
share a portion of my home directory.  Then I can mount that in windows
as a network drive, and easily shuffle things back and forth that way.
