Generally this type of thing strikes me as being similar to third-party printer cartridge refills, a bad idea. They may work but at first but who knows what type of problems being "refilled" by a third-party can introduce to a battery over time. If you really need a less expensive replacement battery for a laptop I think you'd get much better/safer results by buying original manufacturer parts off of ebay from sellers with good ratings.
