   Yeah, I had that thought too, but that's for something different.  Saving 
your session will store the state you want to see when you log in, i.e. what 
programs are automatically started upon login.  But AFAIK saving your session 
won't store application window geometries for programs that *aren't* started 
immediately upon login, which is what I think this situation is.  Otherwise 
John wouldn't be talking about launching it -- it'd already be open.  ;-)
