Actually, it doesn't appear to work properly with truly removable/re- 
orderable media

If I mount /dev/disk/by-uuid/XXXXXX, what is ACTUALLY mounted is,  
say, /dev/sdc1

And if /dev/sdc1 later points to a different physical device, heh,  
well, I've got a new physical device showing up in the filesystem.

It might be "stable across reboots", but it's not stable across device- 
renumbers.
