I mentioned this at Wednesday's meeting, so here's the link:

This is a command-line bash script for cataloging data CDs and DVDs.  
It's basically a fancy version of "dump directory to disk."  Its big 
advantage is that its output is ordinary text files that can be browsed 
and searched under any OS using any existing tools.  Any search will 
automatically return the catalog numbers of the matching discs.

Oh, and I wrote it.  After several years I'm pleased that I can finally 
offer at least a little something to the Open Source Community.  
Comments, suggestions, and improvements would be welcomed, as I'm still 
fairly new to bash scripting.
