Funny I'm havening the same issues but in a different light. For the
last month and a half I have had to run
one of my boxes with MS-Vista 32. I have tried to keep an open mind and
prevail awaiting Linux Mother board drivers.
( Note: do not purchase a new Mother Board at 2am after reliseing your
old MB has died ). I have found it
impossible to find support, being a closed OS I have found the support
to be just as closed. Also the funny part is
that I am finding it extreamly hard to find programs to do what is
common place or simple under Linux. Not that
they do not exist, but in that I can not trust the authors intents are
noble. So at the end of the day Vista is as
broken or more so then Linux and on top of all that there is no one or
place to put trust into. Everyone in the MS
world seems to have there "angle" or "upside" except for you the user. A
Windows user is just cattle for someone else
to exploit.

So ya, Linux has it's issues, all OS's do ( I also work on AIX and
that's $5K per CPU still has issues ), there no free ride.
But it comes down to the company you want to keep and associate with....
Cattle ranchers or free men ( or women )
