1Tb just bought a 1Tb external drive in early December from NewEgg for $120 No problem working with any OS, but what was really important to me is that it had both USB 2.0 and e-SATA connections. I leave it hooked up to the Ubuntu64 server and it works like a charm. When or if I have to take it on the road I can access it via USB ( but that is extremely slow ). It came pre-formated as NTFS and at the 2.6.27-x level of the kernel there are NO issues. Works seamlessly with my other server drives ( which are LVM managed )
