Hi all,
I'm really excited about the cloud computing night (despite how much I
hate marketing terms applied to ideas, it's a necessary evil.).
In addition to the main talk on EC2, I thought that this meeting would
be a good place to do a quick intro to Google App Engine. I just
recently started working with GAE, so I can only provide a quick
overview of the architecture and implementation. However, Google has
provided plenty of support through their documentation, tutorials,
mailing lists, and IRC channel. GAE is an immature platform without any
real framework, so it is still in an exciting "wild west" state of
development.
I added this to the wiki ( http://mhvlug.org/Main_Page#Lightning_Talks )
and of course you can get digging here: (
