As a partial follow up to our Feb talk, if you are interested in getting some experience playing with arduino but aren't quite sure where to start, this Arduino Experimenter's Kit seems like a good starting point: http://www.solarbotics.com/products/ardy/
Mine arrived the other day, it has 11 different basic circuits, with the
software, to get you started in a whole bunch of different areas with
the arduino platform. I'll bring the kit to the next meeting so people
can check it out in person.

There is no silver bullet. Plus, werewolves make better neighbors
than zombies, and they tend to keep the vampire population down.
