As a partial follow up to our Feb talk, if you are interested in getting
some experience playing with arduino but aren't quite sure where to
start, this Arduino Experimenter's Kit seems like a good starting point:

Mine arrived the other day, it has 11 different basic circuits, with the
software, to get you started in a whole bunch of different areas with
the arduino platform.  I'll bring the kit to the next meeting so people
can check it out in person.
