[mhvlug] LogMeIn or other remote

Anyone here had any experience with using the LogMeIn service for remote 
support?  (It's somewhat Linux-relevant, since I'd be connecting from my 
Ubuntu system).  Looking at various options for setting up remote access 
for my brother's XP system (through his FIOS setup), and it will be a 
while before I can do his migration to Ubuntu.  Wasn't sure if LogMeIn 
would be a more secure or less secure option than, say, RDP, VNC, etc.
