Google just updated the page saying "For Verizon's network, you can buy the Droid Incredible by HTC, a powerful Android phone and similarly feature-packed cousin of the Nexus One." as per the droid or the incredible I guess it comes down to the keyboard. I have rocked the G1 since its inception and never felt the need to upgrade because of the awesomeness of the cyanogenmod. The Droid and the Incredible are both awesome. I just jumped ship myself and pre ordered the incredible after that announcement by google. I would have deffinatley gone for the nexus due to the xda forum and cyanogenmod, they have kept my trusty G1 running as smooth if not more than the droid for over a year. All that being said my G1 had all the functionality of the droid with the custom rom and third party apps. I would worry more about the form factor and hardware.
