In Albany, the numbers might be there to have a hole in the wall
storefront because they don't need a strip mall to generate traffic for
them. Their advertising is probably mostly word of mouth.

What's good about having them around is they have all the cables and
stand-offs that you need when you're working on stuff. They even built
my Ubuntu box. I had an SATA drive I wanted to use so I went in there
looking for a case and a mobo. They had everything and then said, why
not let us put it together, since we do it all the time, etc. I think
they only charged me like $5 for the labor, and it's been working
great. When you go in there you can spend a lot of time talking to the
guys. It's that kind of place.
You're never going to get them to match newegg or compusa on parts,
but they're not too far off and they have lots of good used stuff as
well. If you're lucky enough to have a place like this be sure to
spend some $$ there now and then to help keep them going, so they'll
be there when you need them. Same goes for independent car and
motorcycle shops, TV repair, etc.
Still, it's a throw-away world now. Too bad.
