No, seriously, you're wrong. No mainframes run Windows. Period. Full-stop.

Microsoft Windows is currently available for the Intel/AMD x86 Platform.  Once 
up a time, a long time ago, it was also available for the Motorola PowerPC 
platform.

*Neither* of those two platforms even remotely resembles the architecture of a 
mainframe.

For instance, here's all the operating systems you can run on IBM's zSeries 
mainframe architecture:

note that there's no Windows there. There *is* a Linux there, because IBM has 
spent gazillions of dollars ensuring that their ultra-high-end architecture is 
supported by the kernel. (I forgot about that in my last message).

But, no, there is no Windows for mainframes.
