I actually keep both FF and Chrome open throughout the day. Chrome is faster and has better performance for page loading, but Firefox seems to be more robust in general. I also keep session cookies open for two Google accounts, and having two browsers, each for each account, is kinda nice.
I do a fair amount of web dev, so I may be outside the norm here, but I find the dev tools in Chrome to be lacking that of Firebug. And, Firebug-Lite just doesn't have some of the features I need regularly. However, I do keep the dev tools open in Chrome while I'm working, just to periodically inspect how a WebKit browser is reacting to my project. I like going though my RSS feed on Chrome... The page load times are just that much faster. -- Kris Walker On Wed, Aug 25, 2010 at 4:21 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Send mhvlug mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of mhvlug digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
