As I have no intention of buying into the so-called "smartphone" morass,
I think you'll end up spending more money (in labor form) on figuring out a way to do this.
Another way might be ... Buy an old G1 for $75, and never connect it to a cell plan - just use the wifi antenna and turn it into your new PDA.
