Actually at home is the only place I would try this. Most frequently people do this to graphic cards but only after the warranty expires or the company is such a hassle that you don't care if it breaks since you would throw it in the trash before you dealt with their RMA song and dance again. There is a chance you can damage some components especially if you oven is crap and has extreme hot spots. As a company I would never put a clients stuff in an oven, even though it does work you look like an ass if it gets messed up.
