Another topic from last night at dinner was getting Tomboy to synchronize across multiple platforms. You can sync desktop apps via something like dropbox, but in order to get the android version to sync you need to use Ubuntu One, as that provides the only existing Tomboy server on the net.

It turns out this *does* work with the Windows build. Just set your Tomboy Web service to https://one.ubuntu.com/notes/. All the protocol code for this is embedded in Tomboy, so it should work on all platforms.

Bruce, you can now have your notes nirvana after all! :)
