Another discussion at dinner of note was about screenshot tools that
make it simple to do basic annotations.
I've been using shutter for a while to do this, and you can clobber the
keybindings that take you into the default print screen tool. When doing
walk throughs for websites it's totally invaluable time saver.
If you want to try it out:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:shutter/ppa
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install shutter
