It looks like you can currently sign-on to calendar with an AOL, Hotmail or Yahoo account or even an arbitrary e-mail account if you are willing to set up a google password (yay! distributed authentication!). I haven't tried this with other parts of apps, but I'm guessing it should work the same at this point. YMMV. > involving elderly or non-technically inclined folks. Granted, this was If the alternative is to invest in building your own calendar site which has its own account management, then that's a pretty weak argument. But I'm sure there are other options out there.
