For as long as I can remember I've managed my network connection in
/etc/network/interfaces as I'd always been told that NetworkManager was
broken.
Since upgrading to 11.10 though, I've been having the contents of
/etc/resolv.conf wiped out by NetworkManager, so I'm thinking that maybe
NetworkManager is finally ready to take center stage?

If so, what's the best way to transition over? Just copy the settings into
netowrk manager and then blank out /etc/network/interfaces and hope it all
works right after a reboot? ;-)
