Usually those appkillers/battery extenders aren't worth the effort.

When you're not connected to anything, bluetooth battery usage should be
(and is) minimal.

When you're not using a gps-enabled app, the gps isn't turned on.
Battery use is negligible.

Turning off wifi is a good idea - I use "Y5"; it builds a map of wifi to
cell towers, and automatically turns your wifi on and off. That's about
the only concession I make.

The biggest killers of your battery are network traffic and the screen.
Spend more time tuning your apps / picking apps that support tunable
update rates and push notification and less time worrying about battery
savers.

Apps I use:

Trillian (AIM with push notification and negligable battery impact.
yes, it costs money to get rid of the ads. Yes, it's worth it. "dumb"
clients like meebo will eat your battery alive keeping the cell active.
I suggest making a less-trusted account since they get push notify by
proxying your stuff.)

Swipepad (Grid of icons that appears when you swipe in from a side or
corner. Free, add-ons cost money. Going to the home screen all the
time is for suckers.)

Locale (Apply settings on conditions. Sean prefers Tasker. I don't.
Try either one.)

K9. (The best / only good email client. Free. Ad-free. OSS.
Supports caching of SSL certs, so self-signed can be validated and
cached. Supports imap, push, etc.)

Connectbot.

World of Goo. Awesome indie game, now on android, runs great.
