Wait a minute... Joe, were you asking this question from the point of view of 
being the student or the teacher?  The answer I'd give greatly differs 
depending on which it is.  I gave you the answer I personally use when it 
comes to being a student, but now it's sounding like that's not all you had in 
mind.  Yay miscommunication.  :-/
