A friend asked what is the best RealTime Lightweight Linux Distro? I
said "Do not know but will try to get some answers. The use only needs
a command line rather than a GUI interface.

1st thing thought of Video Digital Recorders which use a Linux distro so
did some searching and found "There are many free DVR applications
available for Linux, each released as free and open source software:
MythTV, VDR, LinuxMCE, XBMC
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_video_recorder

Any experience with these or any other RealTime Lightweight Linux
Distros?

Thanks
