I zero filled the hard drive with a utility that Toshiba provided. It took 14 hours. Then I single booted Ubuntu Mate. The problem continued. I thought that zero filling the hard drive would wipe out everything, the master boot record,the works. Does that mean that they only place left to look is the bios?
