Yah, I've always run one on my Garrett turbos.  As do my friends.  I have
30k miles on the current setup with a .060 holed one.  With any higher psi
oil system... restricters are considered the norm from all my experience
(DIY or bought for journal ones, built in for BB ones).  I honestly want to
say its just the turbo...
