Hi All,

It's been forever, or approximately 3.5 years, since I've turned on my
FM II Miata. Yes, I know, that's a terrible thing to do to a Miata
(not to mention a battery). So with Spring finally here in MN, I've
decided that this is the year I'm going to get it out on the road, and
maybe even to the track.

It started, after much cranking, and idled without an issue, maybe a
pop every couple of minutes (hard to tell, the compressor was running
so I could fill the tires). I was able to back it out of the driveway
without it stalling (and the brakes still worked), so a quick trip
around the block was the next step.

Power comes on around 4k, like I remembered it, but around 5k there is
a big miss/cutout (but it's got 3 year old gas in the tank at the very
least). A look at the Link display shows only gibberish (if
anything). The Link display changes as I flex and shake the display
box, so I don't think the issue is on the ECU end, but it's probably
the display itself.

Is this something I can repair myself, or should I send it in to FM?
Or do I just buy a new one? Can I still buy a new one?

Cheers,
Mark
