I can generally find my way around a hot soldering iron (I once soldered a SCSI connector to my Mac 512Ke). I wish that I was at my former company that had super specialized soldering/desoldering equipment and a microscope, but I'm guessing these connections aren't a BGA and even my ham fingers can deal.
Just resolder all of the pins on the ribbon cable's connector? No other pins need to be redone while I'm in there? Thanks!
