I haven't even figured out how to find the sparkplugs on my STi!!!

How do you get the plug wires off without breaking them? I've read that a little "twisting" is necessary, but despite listening to Chubby Checker, I feel as though I'm going to pull the wires clean out of their boots. Have to give Subaru credit, though, 'cause it must be extremely difficult to get water in there... I've NEVER encountered such tight-fitting plug wire boots! Thanks for any tips.
