A NiCad charger will charge NiMH batteries of similar capacity just fine. My thought would be that your charging the batteries inside the razor, the charger will still be the original charger designed to charge the NiCads. Will it do the other batteries? But since knowledgeable guys hang out here. I have a device (okay, a 12+ year old Norelco shaver) that calls for NiCad Batteries "only". However, I have NiMh batteries handy. Will I ruin the batteries, or the shaver, by using them instead? Since I have to solder them in, II would prefer to avoid replacing them again. BTW, the Harbor Freight NiCad batteries are a complete disappointment.
