Yes, there is energy in all of them but the amount of energy at a single point is at different magnitudes. You will NEVER power a car with radio waves until they start using infinite power to generate them. You cannot create big energy from waves that were produced with relatively small energy and then spread over 1000s of square miles. This just isn't physically possible. Could ONE lightweight toy car be pushed by using some sort of directional beam of radio waves - probably. Could I power my three cars using non-directional radio waves - no way in hell. It reminds me of the Mythbuster episode where they tried to surf on the wake caused by dropping 500 pounds of TNT in a lake. A huge explosion with a massive amount of energy that was spread out in ever widening waves. Extremely little energy was left at the outer regions. Never Say Never. You're assuming that all properties of radio or sound waves are known, and that we already know how to utilize all of those properties. That is utter nonsense! Really! Negative thinking is what stifles innovation and achievement. As to Mythbusters, let's not forget that the two showmen "arrange" things to fit their desire to prove or disprove. They have a TV show, with the intent being entertainment and therefore, continued employment on that show. They don't seek truth or innovation. Just a few years ago Cancer was considered an automatic death sentence. That is no longer the case for many cancers, because over time, and through experimentation and the NEED to discover and innovate we have learned more about it. I'm sure there have been many great ideas discarded over the years because the time wasn't right or because someone said "it can't be done"... Well, I think it can be done. **************Gas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars. (http://autos.aol.com/used?ncid=aolaut00050000000007)
