Do you have the intake temperature sensor on your car? If so, check the wires to see if the ground is still connected. A long time ago I had a similar experience, and it turned out that the ground wire from the intake air temp sensor (which connects between the front of the block and the intake manifold) had broken. Repaired it and everything was back to normal.
