We have only heard it a few times so it is really hard to diagnose. You can let the car idle and listen to the A/C kick on and off. Every now and then (maybe 1 out of every 20 times) you can hear it go "whoooooop" when it kicks on. The noise sounds like a rubbing noise (think of a squeegee moving across dry glass) and seems to be coming from under the dash. I do not know if a door opens and closes when the A/C kicks on or not. Any ideas? Also, the A/C does not feel "ice cold".
