It's no conspiracy, it's legal, the cars are there at the time the ad was
printed, if they sell before you get there, they try to switch you to another
one, if the car is still there, but you want another color, no problem, they
will sell you another one but not at that price cause it is only good for that
very car.  Yes Stock numbers are required here in NC as well, but the price is
only good for that very stock number.
If a car sits on a dealers lot for a long time, the dealer is losing money on
it as per their "floor plan" (which is them basically having a loan out on that
car until it sells).  If the car has been sitting for 60 days, the dealer will
sell it at a loss just to get rid of it, so might as well put it in the paper
to attract more business.  We used to do the same thing, it works well.  It
takes money to make money, a dealer will lose $500 to make $5000.

Actually, in Colorado you are required to provide the stock number of a given
car in the ad by law. I think it's to prove that the particular car exists.
Publishing an ad like this one without the stock numbers would be illegal.

The disclaimer at the bottom is from the newspaper, not of the dealership.
Check the other ads.

Sorry to interrupt the conspiracy theories, guys :)

It's a sale they are having, the cars listed are stock number specific, which
means only one of each, it is not uncommon practice for a company to sell one
item at a loss to get attention/traffic of other potential buyers.
Switch and bait baby...
