I've been trying to convince people for years that they should get SFI padding for their roll bars. Your experience demonstrates how important that padding is. I bet the truck pushed your car forward a bit, as that was my experience in two rear-enders. Fortunately for me, the road was slick when I was hit and therefore PUSHED, so the impact was slight - only damage both times was the plastic license plate surround. Again, Glad you're okay.
