Do all the late model diff. housings have sleeves without internal 14mm x 1.5 threads for disengaging it from the PP frame like the early models? That appears to be the case on my '96 model diff housing. The earlier models have the threaded sleeves, as do the '94 models per my FSM. This one seems to be an oddball for some reason.
My sleeve is frozen and I can't get it to slide down. Any ideas? I've tried heat and penetrating lube thus far. I can tap on the top of the sleeve with a drift, though haven't got it to budge. Any suggestions are appreciated.
