No, they don't all have the sleeves IIRC. Remove the bolts holding the spacer to the bottom of the nose of the diff, twist the PPF out of the way and remove the spacer. Then just push up on the PPF and it'll come off the sleeve.

Do all the late model diff. housings have sleeves without internal 14mm x 1.5 threads for disengaging it from the PP frame like the early models? That appears to be the case on my '96 model diff housing. The earlier models have the threaded sleeves, as do the '94 models per my FSM. This one seems to be an oddball for some reason. My sleeve is frozen and I can't get it to slide down. Any ideas? I've tried heat and penetrating lube thus far. I can tap on the top of the sleeve with a drift, though haven't got it to budge. Any suggestions are appreciated.
