I recently acquired a brand new industrial touch panel computer for some design
work I performed. This computer does not have a hard drive, but is typically
run off of a compact flash card....at least this is what I am told. I was
wondering if it was possible to use this as a stand alone unit for tuning
purposes with the Data Log Lab software.
I'm assuming I would have to boot XP from a compact flash to start, and then
somehow have Data Log Lab installed on the CF card also. Someone thought that I
could plug a hard drive into the CF card, but I am unsure about this.
Don't know if this is possible, but are there any computer gurus online that
can help me understand this?
