I doubt it's the sensor itself at this point. More than likely he wired the aftermarket sensor wrong since the color code is probably different. http://www.flyinmiata.com/support/instructions/ecu/4-wire_sensor.pdf Larry White Knight 1991 Crystal White #99 CSP Silver Bullet 1992 Silverstone #17 SM2 FM I+ Turbo Honey B 1992 Sunburst Yellow #99 SM2L JR Supercharger Whooosh 2004 Titanium Mazdaspeed MX-5 LowCountry Miata http://www.lowcountrymiataclub.net Masters Miata RAGS 074 From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of FuZaVue Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 2:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: P1141 Rear Oxygen Sensor Code Hey Gang, Just got back from Iraq recently and acquired a Black 99 Miata to cruise around in, the only issue that i have not been able to figure out yet is the CEL keeps popping on and I get the code P1141 for the rear Oxygen sensor. I had it replaced at a shop but with an aftermarket O2 sensor. The mechanic in my unit is convinced that the light is not going off because it's an aftermarket sensor.
Has anyone had to deal with this particular issue? Any new ideas would be really helpful CPL A -- Http://www.youtube.com/fuzavue
