In my post BB meant Bill Bowser who is the creator and maker of the new
style heat shield.

My waffle is holding up fine, but I have wanted to shield the turbo better.

My issue is that I don't have a BB turbo, and I have one of my coolant lines
running up and over. I don't know which of the shields will work in my
application. Plus I like the new intercooler setup better, but I talk myself
out of it when I start factoring in the cost.............

I have 2 different versions of that old waffle heat shield in my garage.
Neither ever fit on my engine??

I do have a BB heat shield, which is truly a work of art, but unfortunately
the motor is sitting in the garage instead of the car. :(

IIRC, Bruce has a fairly vintage FMII, back in the days of the waffle
griddle heat shield for the turbo. Updating to the current heat shield
made by Bill Bowser would prevent the problem from happening again.
