i just bought a PLANTRONICS PRO for $99
read the reviews, it is "the best" at noise cancelling. I use it in my miata, and i almost always allows me to talk with top down.
i'm sure others will make their own suggestions, but this one was reviewed by CNET to have the best results. it uses 2 mic's, on outfacing mic to "listen" for ambient noise, then cancels that.

Looking at getting a handsfree bluetooth headset for my cell, but it needs to work reasonable well in a top-down environment. Any of you use one that works well? Trying to avoid the try-hate-return-try again process if possible.
