Yes, it is according to a doctor friend. They can't turn you away for
SERIOUS care. A car wreck would qualify.
They don't have to treat you long term and give you multiple MRIs,
etc. etc.
Camp out near one of the county hospitals and see who gets regular
care and you will be amazed at how much care they get and how often.
Course they may have to wait in the hospital all day. Now we're going
to have to get into the illegals issue because they make up a large
portion of this free care.
So now we've just opened another non car can of worms.

No, that is NOT the law. To get medical care when you can't pay for
it you'd better be brought in by an ambulance after having been in
an automobile accident. If you walk in with no money, you'll be
directed back out the door.
