I've only done it with the engine out of the car.? It's also a good time to replace the front and rear crank seals.? You'll need RTV or Gasket Sealant.
Not a difficult job unless you try to do it with the engine in the vehicle; don't know if you can wedge the engine up high enough; perhaps if you were to disconnect the driveshaft and motor mounts.... Lots of 10 MM screws, I think - Follow the tightening sequence in the manuals (staggered sequence), and don't use much torque - Inch Pounds, perhaps.
