He was cutting down some trees near his cabin and misjudged one tree. In retaliation, it fell into/onto him and snapped the ba ll off his humerus, trapping him underneath. Between Teri, a neighbor, and copious amounts of adrenalin, they were able to nudge the tree enough to free Bill. X-rays confirmed a break. He's swollen and sore but actually relatively lucky, considering the other possible outcomes. He'll see a doctor today. And you thought *you* had an adventurous weekend.
