Off the top of my head,,,
-In the studio with Les Paul for his early sound-on-sound and slowed
down/sped up guitar experiments.
-In the Kaiserkeller...whenever Ringo first sat in with the Beatles.
-BW in the studio, anytime between 1964 thru 1966.
-Most here will recall that AGD told a story years ago on the Blooey,
that, invited to a mixing session, he followed Brian WIlson down
the hall for an impromtu version of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
Great story Andrew....wish I'd been on that wall.
-In the studio with XTC' Skylarking sessions, produced by Todd
Rundgren. Chief songwriter Andy Partridge, described it as "Two
little
Hitlers, locked together in a room, both tryiing to deliver the same
baby", or words to that effect.
