The Beatles also had an Unsurpassed Masters series of discs, as well as the famous Dr. Ebbets discs, which get pretty high acclaim as far as boots go.
As well as the Dead, I'm sure Springsteen fans are pretty voracious where live boots are concerned, as are the fans of many other acts. But the circulation of session outtakes more than likely depends on how well they guard their music. The Sea Of Tunes Unsurpassed Masters came about when the makers of the An American Band documentary gained access to the Beach Boys vault. They bootlegged everything they could get their hands on. I would imagine that's exactly how the Beatles Unsurpassed Masters came to be, too. I think session outtakes of the Doors would be fun, but I could almost listen to any group's outtakes and find them interesting as all hell. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Diamond Headz" group.
