I would love to buy the new sets (the mono one first), but not a
chance right now with two kids in college. No fun money for Steve
right at this time.

I grew up in a Beatlemania household, and those songs are so
ingrained, I'd be able to hear anything even remotely different in the
mixes. I didn't really care for the remastered Yellow Submarine
soundtrack a few years ago, so these will be interesting. However,
the new releases are getting rave reviews everywhere, so I'm excited.

As for Rock Band, my 16 year old has Rock Band 1 & 2, and really wants
the Beatles one. After watching some of the promos, the animation
looks like the old King Features Beatles cartoon that was on TV in the
mid 60s here in America. I'm not too sure about that. If I was a
real freak, I'd buy the Rock Band set and hang the fake guitars and
The Beatles bass drum on the wall. That's as far as I'd get with
that.

Speaking of the Beatles songbook, I have the digital "The Complete
Beatles Songbook" with chord charts and tabs for every song on every
album (including the Past Masters). Who ever put it together did an
amazing job. So, if you're a guitar player or musician and are
interested, let me know and I'll upload it to you.
