I believe ALO signed the Small Faces from Don Arden who was one of the
biggest crooks in the entertainment industry (father of Sharon
Osborne) and who used some menacing methods regarding "looking after
his clients interests".
Wouldn't surprise me if he isn't scarred by that experience....both
physically and mentally!

>From wikipedia

"Arden's business methods
In 1966, Arden and a squad of 'minders' turned up at impresario Robert
Stigwood's office to 'teach him a lesson' for daring to discuss a
change of management with Small Faces. This became one of the most
notorious incidents from the 1960s British pop business. Arden
reportedly threatened to throw Stigwood out of the window if he ever
interfered with his business again"
