Can't quite bring myself to listen to the BCR/Rollers...used to see them live in the late 60s, the original band that is. They were a really fantastic live act at that time and had a great singer in Nobby Clark and two other great musicians in Dave Paton and Billy Lyall who went on to form a great and fairly successful pop group called Pilot. The remaining members the Longmuir brothers formed the "successful" BCR. I lost all interest in them during the tartan hype. I was working on the island of Islay a couple of years back during the Whisky Festival and the music festival featured former BCR vocalist doing a solo acoustic folk music set. The locals reprted he put on a good show. SHANGALANG!
